God’s Garden
God’s Garden
A holy heart is the garden where God plants the flower of His love.
God’s love to His people is an ancient love, it dates from eternity. (Ephesians 1:4)
Even the Faintest Call
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shalt be delivered. (Joel 2:32)

Purity, even purity of heart, is the main thing to be aimed at. We need to be made clean within through the Spirit and the Word, and then we shall be clean without by consecration and obedience. There is a close connection between the affection and the understanding: if we love evil, we cannot…

You are Christ’s
You are his by donation, for the Father gave you to the Son; his by his bloody purchase, for he counted down the price for your redemption; his by dedication, for you have consecrated yourself to him; his by relation, for you are named by his name, and made one of his brethren and joint-heirs.
The royal decree: freedom
“Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.” (Acts 13:38-39)
This is a royal proclamation: “Let it be known to you . . . .” The King of the universe proclaims total amnesty for all his…
